ANNUAL REPORT FOR ALL SEASONS CHURCH OF CANADA

January - December, 2008

Attention: Rev. K.D. McKibbon

The following is a summary of my ministry with All Seasons Church of Canada.

  • Led Worship Services and preached 36 Sundays in the pastoral area, which involved the preparations of reading, study, research and writing.
  • Conducted 6 Funerals within Pastoral Area
  • Performed 2 Infant Baptism/Christening services

Many of these weddings, funerals and baptisms were done for people who had been non-churched and hadn’t been attending regular Sunday worship services.

Through the ministry All Seasons Church, I was able to provide for them, pastoral support, counselling and spiritual guidance. Many of these services took place outside the normal four walls of a “church building or sanctuary.” It has been a blessing to serve and help people in their faith journey, who would not have come to a traditional church denominational setting.

I believe God calls us to “go” and minister where people are, not to wait for them to come to where we are. That is the mandate of Christ’s “Great Commission” in the Bible.

All Seasons Church has provided the opportunity for this ministry.

  • Regular hospital visitation in 3 Peterborough area hospitals
  • Visited seniors/shut-ins in 4 Nursing Homes and Retirement Lodges on a monthly basis.
  • Also did some home visitations and telephone ministry.
  • Officiated at 34 weddings in Pastoral Area

In these opportunities, the ministry of the scriptures, prayer and the sacrament is very important.

  • Participated in a bi-weekly small group bible study/fellowship/support group for couples

It is amazing how the Lord opens doors for ministry when we are available and willing.

My own spiritual journey and faith continues to deepen and be enriched by my ministry through All Seasons Church Of Canada.

Sincerely,

Rev. Robert C. Quick
