Pastoral Accountability Report February 2009

WEDDINGS
During my second year as a lay minister with All Seasons, I have prepared, counselled and married 26 couples. Occasionally, my services extended beyond the ceremony with additional support and referral.
BAPTISMS AND NAMING CEREMONIES
I have recently performed my first baptism and naming ceremony. I enjoyed this and it is a nice addition to my ministry work.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Our vibrant house Church continues to provide temporary/emergency housing to people in need. This year we helped one woman leave an abusive relationship and relocate. We helped another gentleman seek psychiatric supports, thus allowing him to eventually stabilize and return to live with his family.
We
provide relief/respite to parents of a 25 year woman. She is
developmentally challenged and spends two days a week with us.
ENVIROMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
We
are always aspiring to greener and sustainable ministerial practices.
We are using the book ‘Sustainability for Dummies’ to teach and
educate our small study groups on sustainable living practices.
CONCLUSION
As
my ministry continues to grow, I am blessed to be part of a very
supportive pastoral team with All Seasons Church. Moreover, I’ve
never worked with people who are as efficient, timely, organized and
client/people directed as All Seasons. I appreciate these values.
Thank you.
