In May, 1993 McKibbon was awarded the Canada 125 Medal from the Government of Canada by the Governor General, for this pioneering ministry with clergy of all faith traditions who feel unfairly treated by Congregations or a Church Bureaucracy. Recently "Rev. Casey McKibbon Day" was declared by the Mayor of his community to recognize Casey's contribution to the local community. This declaration has only been made three times in over one hundred years of local government.
He came to All Seasons Church, which headquarters in Metcalfe, after thirty years service in the United Church. He left the United Church in good standing to become the Chief Governing Official (General Secretary) of the Church.
